All our books are written, edited and designed by experienced outdoors people: walkers, scramblers and climbers. Most are members of the professional, invitation-only Outdoor Writers and Photographers’ Guild.

We know and talk regularly to all sorts of outdoor experts who tell us in great detail what they want and happily provide constant feedback on everything we publish. We also work closely with countryside management teams, rangers and walking groups to ensure we publish only those books that are needed and relevant. By talking to these people, the end users — your customers — we aim to publish only books that will sell, sell well, and go on selling.

Our books are also widely publicised and promoted to ensure constant public interest and a ready market.
