How do I order your books?

Online Orders

• Click on the 'Add to Cart' button below the cover image of each book you'd like to order.
• The book will be added to your shopping basket. (Alternatively, for more information click on the 'Read More>' link to go to a dedicated page for that book -- containing full details, larger images of the cover, a typical inside spread, contents list, and endorsements. Books can be added to your shopping basket from these pages too.)
• Repeat the process for each different title you'd like to buy.
• When you've added all your chosen books, go to 'Checkout'.
• Once the order is complete, your chosen books will be posted to you.

Orders By Post

You may also order and pay for books by sending a completed order form through the post.

Download, print out and complete this PDF Order Form. Total up your order and add the correct postage. Enclose a cheque made payable to 'Northern Eye Books Limited', and post to the address on the form. It is:

How do I order a catalogue?

You can download a small printed catalogue here. (Download PDF)

Our comprehensive online catalogue is regularly updated and shows both new and forthcoming titles.

How can I order a review copy?

Simply email us and ask for a copy. Don't forget to tell us who you are, your position, the name of your publication, your postal address and postcode, and your email and daytime phone number.

Where can I get permissions information?

Please email us with your permissions query and we will respond usually within 48 hours. Permissions enquiries should include the following information:

• Length of extract
• Publication
• Price
• Estimated print run
• Territories

What about Rights?

Foreign rights are available for many of our titles. Please contact us directly for a discussion in confidence.

How can I get my book published?

If you'd like to submit your idea for a book or a sample chapter of a proposed title, we'd love to read it. For details, please see Submitting a Book Idea.

How can I give you feedback on your books or website?

We welcome your feedback - both positive and negative! Please tell us what you think via our Contact Form.

Can you tell me when new books come out?

Yes, of course. Sign up for our FREE newsletter to learn about new and forthcoming books, new authors, events and exclusive offers and promotions only available to members.

To join, simply enter your email address in the box in the FREE Newsletter section that appears at the top right of every page, and click 'Send'.

What sort of books do you publish?

We specialise in walking, scrambling, climbing, countryside and outdoor leisure titles covering the wilder places of Wales, the Welsh borders, Cheshire and Wirral, and Northwest England.

We also publish new editions of climbing and outdoor classics.

How can I contact an author?

Either post or email your queries to a particular author, marked FAO 'their name', c/o Northern Eye Books. We'll happily pass on all correspondence.

How can I get a job at Northern Eye Books?

We're a small publishing house who either do most of the work in-house or use a range of selected sub-contractors.

Sorry, there are currently NO jobs available and we regret that we cannot respond to enquiries about employment. Nor are we looking for work experience candidates. But we do wish you luck elsewhere.
