Sixteen circular walks exploring the coast and hills of the Lleyn Peninsula
The Lleyn Peninsula is the northernmost and smallest of the three great peninsulas that dominate the west coast of England and Wales - Lleyn, Pembrokeshire and Cornwall. Like these larger cousins, its coastline is both dramtic and beautiful with numerous fine sandy bays, isolated coves and magnificent cliff scenery. Inland, a range of shapely volcanic hills give superb views over the entire peninsula, along with the neighbouring peaks of Snowdonia.
Walks on the Lleyn Peninsula contains 16 circular walks which explore some of the finest sectoins of the coast, along with several of lleyn's shapely hills. With distances ranging from 1.5 - 7.25 miles, all walkers are cateredf for - from those looking for a casual half-day walk to add colour to a hoilday, to the more ambitious who may perhaps complete two or more routes as an alternative to Snowdoina. Those not familiar with the Lleyn will find this book useful as a guide to some of its most scenic and unspoilt locations.
